Savage x Fenty is a lingerie line created on May 11 2018 by Barbadian singer and now mother Rihanna.

Savage x Fenty (JC) | This would have been my second time ordering Savage x Fenty By Rihanna, I’ve always wanted the sweats onesies and they were finally available. The onesies, when they first came out, were out of stock on both the American and French websites.

How Did It All Started?

I saw an Instagram post about Savage x Fenty and went to the website. I still in California then, so Google took me straight to the American version of the website. As stated above, I wanted one of the onesies. It didn’t matter which one, I wanted one but they were all out of stock.

I ordered other lingerie items and had no issues with my accounts or the receiving of the orders. I didn’t order from the website for a long time.

Fast forwarding to September 30th 2022, I placed an order for €173.35. By then, I’m in France. I go the Savage x Fenty’s website, add all my items to the cart, only to find out that, the US version does not ship outside of the United States. If you are an international shopper like me, then you know that most often than not, either the US websites ship internationally or they simply don’t.

As regards to Savage x Fenty, I just assumed that it’ll ship to France.

So what do I do? I search online “Savage x Fenty France” and find the French website. I create a new account, which will be only used for France since the French website also does not ship internationally. As of today, at around 11.30am (France time), I place another order for €362,65.

For both orders, the money was taken out of the account.

At 3:05pm, I receive emails, in French, on both accounts, the American account and the French account, saying that my Savage Fenty VIP account was canceled. But I never requested it.

I logged into my French account, which has both orders, both are canceled! As per the image below, you can see that, I had four items in my cart.

What Happened?

At this point, I’m beyond furious. I contacted Savage x Fenty on Instagram but I didn’t get the help, I wanted. All the while I was on hold on the French customer service line. I waited 18 minutes and 40 seconds before someone answered my call.

When the customer service representative answers, I explain my situation. He asks for my email address, I give it. He proceeds to tell me that my orders are canceled (no shit!). I ask, why? He says because I have more than one account.

I confirm that it is true and explains that there’s an American account that ships only to the US and a French account that ships only to France. He explains to me that both accounts are French

CS Rep : ” No Ma’am, both accounts are French.

Me :” One is US, one is French

CSR Rep : Both accounts have a French address Me : “No, the…. account has an American address

CS Rep :” Let me check”… He checks “You’re right it has an American address”

Me : “So, why were my orders canceled and how come the system didn’t not recognize the difference in the addresses?

CS Rep :” Customer are only allowed one account per person, be it account in Mexico, Canada or the US”

Me : “How can I re-order?”

CS Rep : You can’t, your accounts have been canceled.

Me: So you flagged my name and addresses?

CS Rep : Yes

While on the phone with the customer service representative, I received two emails informing me that my orders have been canceled.

Conclusion

I’m extremely disappointed and still infuriated by the situation. At no point did the customer service representative even offered to delete and/or cancel the US account to allow me to place orders or cancel the deletion of my accounts and orders.

Instead, the customer service representative advised me to place a new order and have it shipped to a friend’s address. I did not do it because it is too much of a hassle for lingeries that can be bought somewhere else. So, somewhere else I went!

Savage x Fenty demands one account per customer but its system can’t even recognize different addresses and/or countries. How are we supposed to shop?
