0 Thierry Mugler | According to a post published on Manfred Thierry Mugler’s official account, the fashion icon has passed away.
The posts reports that he past away this Sunday 23 January 2022.
Thierry MMugler is known for his designs as well as his perfumes. His designs whose have been worn by entertainment royalty from Kim Kardashian to Lady Gaga to Beyonce.
His press officer Jean-Baptiste Rougeot told AFP that the creator had died of “natural death”, and unexpectedly. The great couturier still had projects and was to announce new collaborations at the start of the week, according to the latter.
Born in Strasbourg in 1948, the couturier created his first “Café de Paris” collection in 1973. The following year, he created his own brand in his name and opened his first store in Paris, place des Victoires, in 1978
According to Jean-Baptiste Rougeot, the death of Thierry Mugler occurred unexpectedly. The great couturier still had projects and was to announce new collaborations at the start of the week, he said.
